VISORDOWN LTD values its customers and their privacy and promise
never to divulge any details of their customers in any form to third
parties.
All payment details will be handled in the strictest confidence. we
treat our customers the way in which we would expect to be treated
ourselves
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the
information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process
your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will use your details for fraud prevention purposes. We will check your
details with fraud prevention agencies and if you give us false or
inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your
consent- ie by joining our mailing list. You are free to unsubscribe
from our mailing list at any time. Our mailing list has an opt-in
facility which ensures that you may never be added without your consent.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
· your name
· address
· phone number
· email address
· credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can
check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you
find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in
accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which?
Web Trader Code.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors
to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on
your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this
happening. The information collected in this way can be used to
identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
SECURITY
All orders are processed by Mals e-commerce. When you place your
personal details on the order form these are encrypted and sent to a
secure server and the details are held available to us for up to 8
weeks. We need a separate password to access your order details and
payment details. Credit card details are collected via a secure server
- please note the presence of https://www at the top of the page and
the padlock sign. We are able to access your credit card details only
after having entered two different passwords. Credit card details are
held on the secure server for up to 8 weeks. We do not print out your
credit card details and they are available only to us when we access
the secure server and input your order number. After 8 weeks we can no
longer access them.
